We’re hiring a Client Principal to help expand esynergy’s footprint in the UK public sector, working closely with our Sales Lead to unlock new relationships and drive meaningful digital transformation across government organisations. You’ll have a proven track record of originating and closing public sector opportunities within technology consulting or allied IT service industries. You will be a natural networker, understand how to build multi-stakeholder relationships and how to navigate & influence procurement processes. You will have a strong commercial instinct and work seamlessly across presales, bid, delivery and leadership teams with the goal of delivering meaningful business outcomes for your clients.
Responsibilities: 🌟
- Open new public sector accounts and drive annual consulting revenue
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior government stakeholders (Director/CxO level)
- Partner with our Sales Lead to develop and execute the public sector growth strategy
- Lead and shape the pre-sales process – from qualification to proposal to commercial negotiation
- Translate market intelligence into actionable account plans and outreach strategies
- Collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure a seamless sales-to-delivery transition
- Drive value through partner channels and maintain a pulse on public sector trends

Requirements: ✔️
- Proven experience in landing net new public sector accounts (central government, NHS, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of UK government procurement frameworks (e.g. G-Cloud, DOS)
- Ability to clearly walk through a full sales lifecycle — from lead to won deal
- Strong consultative selling background, ideally in cloud, data, or digital consulting
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders in large, often regulated environments
- Keen interest in public sector digital transformation, cloud adoption, and open source
- Experience working with partners (e.g. AWS, Microsoft, GDS-aligned suppliers)
