Client Relationship Associate
The Client Relationship Associate will be responsible for the EMsights Capital Group client experience from prospect onboarding throughout the client lifecycle, partnering with the Business Leader on client engagement and broader business development efforts. The role is responsible for strengthening relationships through proactive engagement, tailored interactions, and consistent delivery of value. The Associate will also work directly with the Business Leader on contact management and sales enablement initiatives that contribute to business growth.
The ideal candidate is proactive, commercially minded, and relationship-oriented, with the ability to use CRM systems, analytics, and digital platforms to understand client engagement, anticipate needs, and deliver an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage the client experience from prospect onboarding throughout the client lifecycle, ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience
- Proactively manage client renewal processes and coordinate contract terms in partnership with appropriate internal stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts and users across assigned accounts
- Conduct regular client check-ins and strategic reviews to understand priorities, reinforce value, and identify evolving needs
- Monitor client engagement, usage, and relationship metrics to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for deeper engagement
- Develop proactive engagement plans for accounts showing signs of reduced activity or other retention risk
- Share relevant investment content, thought leadership, and market insights to maintain ongoing client engagement and reinforce value
- Promote webinars, Q&A sessions, and periodic events that provide clients with timely access to relevant insights and team perspectives
- Partner with the Business Leader on contact management and sales enablement activities that support business development and relationship growth
- Identify opportunities to introduce relevant premium solutions, add-on services, or expanded offerings aligned with client objectives
- Coordinate internal follow-up across the investment, distribution, marketing, and operational teams to support timely resolution of client needs
- Maintain clear and actionable account notes, engagement plans, and follow-up activities within the CRM system
- Prepare client engagement summaries and relationship updates to support discussions with the Business Leader and broader team
- Support targeted outreach initiatives that strengthen client engagement, retention, and business development activity
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned in support of the EMsights client experience and business development efforts

Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- 3–5 years of experience in a client service, client relationship, or client onboarding role within the investment management industry
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and foster long-term partnerships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Interest in financial markets, with intellectual curiosity around global economic, political, and market developments
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses required
- Client-focused mindset with a strong commitment to delivering responsive, thoughtful, and high-quality service
- Proactive and self-directed approach, with the initiative to anticipate needs and identify solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client priorities, follow-ups, and deadlines simultaneously
- Sound judgment and creative problem-solving skills in a dynamic, relationship-driven environment
- Experience working with CRM systems and maintaining timely, accurate, and actionable client and prospect information
- Ability to interpret client engagement and usage data and translate insights into practical sales and relationship-management initiatives
- Technology fluency and comfort learning and using AI, analytics tools, digital platforms, and evolving client-engagement technologies to create efficiency and identify opportunities for the team
- Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work effectively with senior business leaders and internal partners
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new systems and apply data and analytics to client and business-development objectives
