About the role:

Reports to Senior Client Relationship Manager

We are looking to recruit a Client Relationship Manager to manage a team responsible for the administration and company secretarial and governance elements of a number of real asset structures. You will be working alongside a Company Secretarial Manager and a team of Corporate Secretaries. Your expertise will be key to the award-winning outsourced solutions that the Group provides to our clients.

As a Manager / Manager II (Band 3), you will be responsible for the leadership of a team or project, driving process improvement, operational excellence and contributing towards broader team strategies. This will be achieved through leading, motivating and coaching a team that is focused on outcomes, being open-minded and embracing change whilst valuing diverse perspectives and channeling a 'can-do' attitude. You will support business and people growth through connecting and collaborating across the business to enable Aztec's future ambitions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage a team in delivery of all aspects of company secretarial matters for a large client base including the review of board material and agenda, co-ordination of board meetings, company secretarial aspects of transactional matters such as equity and debt changes.
  • Managing a company secretarial team consisting initially of three direct reports.
  • Manage day-to-day technical company secretarial and client relationship issues.
  • Manage client billing, governance-based queries and input into processes improvements as necessary.
  • Ensure that the team produces high quality work including board packs, filings and minute writing.
  • Support the Senior Manager in ensuring that new technology is adopted by the team.
  • Manage onboarding and compliance processes such as client AML status and other compliance review.
  • Ensure maintenance of accurate records for each entity, ensuring that all amendments are made in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, colleagues and other business contacts. Ensure smooth communication between all aspects of the client delivery across real assets, partnering with other teams servicing the same clients.
  • Act as a team representative for group-wide projects (as necessary).
  • Act as a mentor to staff.

Skills, knowledge, expertise:

  • Proven legal and administration experience supported by a relevant professional qualification or experience (Chartered Governance level or equivalent).
  • Experience in the administration of Companies, Limited Partnerships and Trusts.
  • Experience of client relationship management and stakeholder management.
  • Sound people management expertise.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Experience of minute writing and review.
  • Sound technical financial services knowledge (to be supported through the Aztec Academy).
  • Computer literacy skills are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients, and business contacts.
  • Act as a “B” level Authorised Signatory.
