I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

An important part of the Client Relationship Manager role is demonstrating best practice when hosting a client meeting end-to-end, confirming rules of engagement, and educating clients on the hiring process.
Whilst you will be developing business, unlike a Business Development Manager, there is no requirement to cold call, as our experienced leaders are experts in opening doors. What is essential is a passion for understanding our clients and how we can assist them in a meaningful and impactful way.
This client-focused Client Relationship Manager role is a senior position where your voice will be heard and your influence will be felt. You’ll work alongside a highly motivated, highly skilled, and, most importantly, engaged sales and leadership team, helping shape the direction of the business as we continue to grow.
