Role Description

The Client Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Worcester, focused on building and nurturing long-term relationships with new and existing clients across a varied client base.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client accounts
  • Understand client needs
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services and projects
  • Manage client communications
  • Prepare proposals
  • Support contract negotiations
  • Track client satisfaction and performance metrics
  • Identify opportunities for service improvements and account growth
  • Provide regular updates to management
  • Support the resolution of any issues or escalations

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in client relationship management, account management, or customer success, ideally in construction, engineering, contracting, or related technical services.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships at multiple stakeholder levels.
  • Organisational and time-management skills, including experience managing multiple client accounts, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Competence in using CRM systems and common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office suite) to document interactions, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to understand client requirements, address issues, and identify opportunities for service improvements and growth.
  • Knowledge or interest in fire protection, building services, or engineering sectors; experience in fire systems or safety-related industries is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Worcester, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and represent the company professionally during client meetings and site visibility.
  • Relevant education or equivalent practical experience; professional training in account management or customer service is beneficial.
