Role Overview

An established global insurance organisation is seeking an experienced Client Relationship Manager to lead the engagement and overall relationship management of a portfolio of existing and prospective clients.

Acting as a trusted adviser, you will develop a deep understanding of each client’s business, risk priorities and ambitions, translating these insights into bespoke strategic account plans. You will bring together underwriting, multinational servicing, claims and distribution colleagues to deliver integrated, client-focused solutions.

The role combines strategic relationship ownership with a clear focus on exceptional service, retention, profitable growth and the effective delivery of a compelling client value proposition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Trusted Client Relationships: Build and strengthen trusted-adviser relationships with key clients, prospective clients, broking partners and executive sponsors.
  • Portfolio Ownership: Lead the engagement strategy for a portfolio of strategic accounts, with accountability for service quality, retention, profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Strategic Account Planning: Develop a strong understanding of each client’s business, risk landscape, needs and objectives, translating this into tailored account plans and measurable engagement priorities.
  • Cross-Functional Delivery: Work seamlessly with underwriting, multinational servicing, claims, distribution and other relevant teams to deliver timely, coordinated and effective insurance solutions.
  • Client Service Excellence: Maintain regular and purposeful client contact, coordinate relationship review meetings, and ensure issues or concerns are identified early, owned and resolved collaboratively.
  • Growth Opportunity Development: Use market insight, client intelligence and internal and external leads to identify, quantify and progress new business, upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Value Proposition Delivery: Represent and deliver the organisation’s client value proposition credibly and consistently, ensuring solutions remain aligned with client needs and commercial objectives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
