Client Relationship Team Manager
Salary: £46,000 - £50,000
Location: Surrey
We are working with a growing whole-of-market Financial Planning firm that is looking to appoint a Client Relationship Team Manager to support and lead their client administration teams across two Surrey offices.
This is a key role within the business, responsible for ensuring advisers and their support teams are working effectively, maintaining high standards of client service and creating a consistent approach across both locations.
You will manage and develop the Client Relationship teams, providing leadership, guidance and support while also working closely with advisers and senior management to improve processes and overall service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Client Relationship teams across two Surrey offices.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, support and guidance to IFA Administrators.
- Monitor workloads, workflow and service levels to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
- Support the development, training and performance management of team members.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex client and administrative queries.
- Work closely with Financial Advisers to ensure effective communication and smooth delivery of client requirements.
- Maintain strong standards around compliance, accuracy and client service.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working.
- Help ensure a consistent client experience across both offices.
- Work closely with senior management on wider operational and business initiatives.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members where required.

About You
The successful candidate is likely to have:
- Previous experience within Financial Planning or Wealth Management.
- Strong experience within an IFA administration or client services environment.
- Previous experience managing, mentoring or leading a team.
- A good understanding of the adviser/client relationship and the wider Financial Planning process.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with advisers and senior stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational issues.
- A genuine focus on delivering a high-quality client experience.
- The ability to build strong relationships across multiple offices.
