Working as part of the Client Reporting & Performance team, the successful candidate will help manage recurring reporting cycles, validate data, investigate reporting queries, support performance reporting outputs and contribute to improvements in systems, controls and processes.

The role is well suited to someone with early financial services experience who enjoys working with data, solving problems, improving processes and collaborating with stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Compliance, Investment and client-facing teams.

What You Will Learn

  • How client, regulatory and performance reports are produced, checked and delivered.
  • How investment data, valuations, transactions, benchmarks and costs/charges feed into client reporting.
  • How reporting controls, reconciliations, procedures and audit trails support good client outcomes.
  • How approved AI, automation and productivity tools can be used responsibly to improve reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Client And Regulatory Reporting

  • Support the end-to-end delivery of recurring client and regulatory reporting cycles, including preparation, data validation, testing, production oversight, despatch and archiving. Full training will be provided on the team’s reporting processes, controls and systems.
  • Coordinate reporting activity against agreed plans and SLAs, working with internal teams and external providers to resolve issues and keep delivery on track.
  • Help investigate reporting exceptions, data issues and enhancement requests, documenting findings clearly and escalating where needed.
  • Maintain daily BAU reporting controls, including MiFID II-related reporting activity, report settings, valuation data, transaction information, costs and charges, and other client-reporting outputs as required.
  • Support tax reporting processes, including data management, processing checks, production coordination and timely resolution of related queries.
  • Provide accurate, professional and client-focused responses to reporting queries from internal stakeholders and, where applicable, external parties.

Performance Reporting And Investment Data

  • Support monthly and quarterly performance reporting by helping collate, check and maintain performance and investment data. Over time, build knowledge of benchmarks, portfolio returns, flows, gain/loss reporting and attribution principles.
  • Investigate and resolve performance measurement queries, explaining data, calculation logic and reporting outcomes clearly to stakeholders.
  • Build knowledge of performance measurement concepts, including time-weighted returns, benchmarks, flows, gain/loss reporting and attribution principles.
  • Work with relevant teams to ensure investment data used in reporting is complete, accurate and aligned with agreed control procedures.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
