As a Client Service Account Manager (Associate) in Payments Client Service, you support a portfolio of treasury clients by resolving service needs, improving operational outcomes, and strengthening long-term relationships. You partner with teams across sales, operations, and product to remove friction and deliver a consistently strong client experience. You help us identify trends, increase adoption of self-service where appropriate, and reduce repeat issues through practical improvements.
Job responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of treasury clients and deliver responsive, high-quality service
- Build trusted client relationships and anticipate service and operating needs
- Resolve service issues end-to-end and communicate clearly on progress and outcomes
- Partner with internal teams to address root causes and improve the client experience
- Promote self-service tools to reduce repeat inquiries and improve efficiency
- Analyze payment activity to identify process improvements and service opportunities
- Support execution of client service plans aligned to client priorities
- Document client interactions, issues, and proactive outreach in required systems
- Identify and escalate potential risks or unusual client activity in line with expectations
- Share best practices and contribute to team initiatives and continuous improvement
- Surface ideas for product and process enhancements based on client feedback

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Fluency in English and Italian or Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience delivering client service and managing a client portfolio in a professional services environment
- Demonstrated ability to resolve issues end-to-end with clear ownership and follow-through
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to stay professional and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and credibility
- Demonstrated negotiation and issue-resolution skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and work independently when needed
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness when working with diverse client groups
- Proficiency in using multiple systems to track, manage, and resolve client requests
- Sound judgment in identifying, documenting, and escalating potential risks
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of treasury services products, processes, and relevant risk considerations
- Experience supporting payments, cash management, or transaction banking clients
- Additional language skills beyond English and Italian or Spanish
