Client Service Manager – Pension Administration
About The Role
As a Client Service Manager in Pension Administration, you will look after a portfolio of clients and make sure they receive a reliable, high-quality administration service. You will be the main contact for administration questions, coordinate the work of specialist teams and help improve how we support each client.
What You’ll Do
In this role you build strong working relationships with clients and with internal teams across Aon. You explain what services we provide, how we measure them and what clients can expect. You join regular client meetings, share results in a clear way and agree any changes or new projects.
Day to day, you oversee the delivery of pension administration for your clients. You keep track of key tasks, member events and scheme events, and you make sure work is completed on time and to the right standard. When there is an escalation or complaint, you take ownership, bring the right people together and see the issue through to resolution. You also look ahead to spot service risks and put actions in place to manage them.
You act as the main link between Pension Administration teams and other stakeholders such as Client Managers, RIB contacts and other Aon client teams. You coordinate client projects and scheme events from planning through to delivery and you take responsibility for any Errors and Omissions (E&O) cases, agreeing actions and following them through. You prepare straightforward service reports and present them to clients so they understand how their scheme is being run.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
