About the Role
As a Client Services Administration Apprentice, you will work at the heart of our business operations, supporting our Client Services team with the day-to-day administration that helps Taylor Money deliver an excellent service to clients. This is a varied and practical role where you will learn how a financial services business operates, develop your administration and communication skills, and gain experience working with colleagues, clients and external providers. With guidance from the administration and management teams, you will help with client communications, meeting preparation, business processing, diary support, CRM updates and general office administration, while building confidence and knowledge as part of your apprenticeship. This reflects the existing role’s focus on supporting wealth managers, paraplanners and the wider business, as well as the importance of organisation, communication and willingness to learn.
Key Tasks
- Answering the phone, sending emails, preparing letters and communicating with clients, colleagues and external providers in a professional and helpful manner
- Supporting diary management, booking appointments and helping to prepare materials for client meetings
- Assisting with the processing of client business, including completing and checking paperwork, chasing information where needed and helping to keep records up to date on the CRM system
- Learning how to support work from start to finish, working closely with the Client Services team, wealth managers and paraplanners
- Helping with internal projects under the guidance of the administration and management teams
- Supporting the smooth running of the office by helping to keep the working environment organised, tidy and welcoming
- Attending and supporting company events where required, including helping to welcome clients and contacts
- Carrying out general office administration tasks to support the team and contribute to the overall goals of the business

Requirements
For this apprenticeship, we are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude, strong attention to detail, good communication skills and a willingness to learn. The existing role highlights the importance of being organised, motivated, confident when dealing with colleagues, clients and third parties, and able to work with honesty, integrity and discretion.
Training
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

Course Contents
- Apply professional standards and best practice to support positive outcomes for stakeholders, in accordance with legal, regulatory, and ethical rules and principles
- Deliver customer service to internal and or external stakeholders that meets their requirements, considering service level agreements, and ethical and financial regulations, such as Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles, Know Your Customer (KYC), and identifying and supporting vulnerable customers
- Collaborate with and support financial services teams with planned and ad-hoc tasks or projects
- Identify potential risks and align tasks with company guidelines to effectively mitigate risks, escalating where appropriate
- Escalate issues where appropriate in line with organisational policies, procedures, and legal and regulatory requirements
- Use digital systems and processes to meet business and customer needs, considering financial services regulatory and governance requirements
- Handle data safely and securely and share information in compliance with data protection legislation and organisational policy
- Develop and maintain collaborative and positive relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of their individual expectations and needs
- Select and use appropriate communication methods for the audience and circumstances, and convey technical and non-technical information to stakeholders, adapting as needed and in compliance with relevant policies, guidelines, and legislation
- Use available tools and technique to research, collate, analyse, and present data relevant to their role and audience
- Plan, organise and prioritise own tasks, managing time and resources effectively
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and recommend solutions to improve processes
- Apply current and developing sustainable principles and techniques relative to role
- Participate in training and development activities related to their role, and stay up to date with relevant legal, regulatory, and other changes affecting the industry
- Work in line with organisational equity, diversity, and inclusion policies

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Essential Qualifications
- GCSE in:
- Maths and English (grade 4/C or above)
