Role Overview

This role would predominantly be based at our head office in Spalding but flexibility to travel will be required in line with the needs of the business. This involves organising and signing up apprenticeships and other learners. Full training will be given, accuracy and attention to detail is an essential requirement.

What You'll Do at Work

Overall Purpose of the Job:

  • To support the provision of an effective and efficient customer service function by:
  • Promoting the company’s’ services and products to potential as well as existing customers
  • Dealing professionally with incoming calls from/making outgoing calls to existing and prospective customers, providing information and follow-up actions as required
  • Support the Client Services Team Leader to ensure the vacancy matching process is adhered to
  • Preparing learner paperwork packs and managing company sign-up appointments
  • Facilitating the enrolment of learners during group and 1-2-1 sessions, providing advice and guidance on course requirements (including duration and content)

Key Accountabilities:

  • Enrolment of learners and providing professional support
  • Allocate learners to training opportunities and manage booking system
  • Follow up learners from courses to track their progress into employment as and when requested
  • Undertake appropriate training for all systems and applications
  • Accurate completion of all paperwork in line with any contracts held by Steadfast Training Ltd
  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge regarding all funding rules and requirements

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and exceed agreed performance targets as set out for this role
  • Maintain accuracy
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with new and existing clients
  • Uploading information for the vacancy matching system and following through for appointments, sign-ups and matching apprentices to the vacancy
  • Ensuring all required data is kept accurate and up to date and organising all learner and sales paperwork in an effective and efficient manner for handover to the Central Administration Team
  • Responding to all customers (including learner applicants) in a timely manner and maintaining appropriate records of correspondence via the CRM
  • Participating in annual employee appraisal and objective setting activity and meeting with line manager to review personal progress on a quarterly basis
  • Attending staff training as required to maintain personal competency and keep up-to-date with current practice
  • Upholding all policies and procedures of Steadfast Training Ltd
  • Promoting a positive image of the company and all of the services it delivers
  • Undertaking other appropriate duties as may be reasonably required from time to time by the Line Manager

  • A clean driving licence is required as you will be visiting clients' premises using a company vehicle

  • Demonstrate patience and calmness.
  • Show you understand the customer’s point of view.
  • Use appropriate sign-posting or resolution to meet your customers needs and manage expectations.
  • Maintain informative communication during service recovery.

Training Schedule

  • Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner
  • All training will take place at Steadfast Training on a monthly basis

Essential Qualifications

  • GCSE in:
    • English (grade 4)
    • Maths (grade 4)

Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
