Client Services & Commercial Executive - Travel/Assistance/Employee Benefits

3 days in London - Up to £60k

The Client Services & Commercial Executive provides day-to-day support across client servicing, business development and account administration activities. The role is responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, coordinating policy and account management processes, supporting new business opportunities, preparing client, management and underwriting reports, and ensuring the efficient delivery of services to clients and internal stakeholders.

The position plays a key role in supporting client retention, identifying opportunities for growth, and enhancing overall operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key contact for clients, brokers, insurers and internal stakeholders, providing timely and professional support.
  • Support the onboarding and implementation of new clients, products, schemes and underwriting arrangements.
  • Manage day-to-day account servicing, including policy administration, renewals, endorsements, client queries and financial/administrative activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, supporting account retention, new business and profitable growth.
  • Produce accurate client, underwriting, performance, claims and management information.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation and compliance requirements across internal systems.
  • Support new business activity by preparing quotations, presentations and client documentation.
  • Liaise with insurers, underwriting partners and service providers to obtain information, resolve queries and support placement and servicing activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client experience, operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Contribute to business development, relationship management, marketing and client retention initiatives.
  • Take ownership of projects and deliver results while working collaboratively across teams and functions.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Significant experience in senior-level Account Management, Business Development, Sales or Broking within a B2B insurance environment.
  • Previous insurance industry experience is essential; Accident & Health experience would be advantageous.
  • Proven track record of account retention, business development, sales and/or broking, with a focus on profitable growth.
  • Experience managing existing accounts, implementing new business and supporting underwriting facilities or delegated arrangements.
  • Excellent written and spoken English is essential; additional language skills would be advantageous.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently and explain complex information clearly.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and experience using CRM systems.
