🚨 TEMPORARY CLIENT SERVICES & OPERATIONS COORDINATOR – CITY
📍 Bank | 5 days office-based
⏰ ASAP start | Approx. 4–12 weeks
We’re working with a specialist UK consultancy that helps mid-market businesses reduce their overhead and indirect costs, identifying savings across areas such as supplier spend and non-core business expenses while maintaining service levels and control.
They are looking for a hands-on Client Services & Operations Coordinator to join their small, fast-paced team on a temporary basis.
This is not an EA role and not a management position. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, working independently and getting stuck into the detail.
💻 What will you be doing?
You’ll personally manage client and supplier activity from start to finish, including:
- Managing client onboarding and operational workflows
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and suppliers via email and telephone
- Preparing quotations, savings schedules and invoices using Excel
- Processing invoicing and commission accurately and in real time
- Handling queries independently and seeing them through to resolution
- Maintaining accurate operational records, systems and documentation

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
