Client Services Coordinator – Contemporary Art
Central London | £32,000–£42,000 DOE + benefits | Full-time, office-based
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established international contemporary art business in the heart of Central London.
Sitting at the centre of the commercial operation, this role is perfect for someone who enjoys making things happen behind the scenes. You’ll work closely with a team of Art Consultants, helping to progress client opportunities while coordinating with colleagues across logistics, finance, creative and operations.
This is much more than traditional administration. You’ll develop a strong understanding of the commercial side of the art world, working with international clients and helping ensure every detail of a transaction is handled accurately and efficiently.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting Art Consultants throughout the client and sales journey
- Keeping track of live transactions, artwork availability and reservations
- Coordinating information across Sales, Finance, Logistics and Creative
- Helping prepare client presentations and artwork proposals
- Supporting invoicing, payments and essential client documentation
- Coordinating information around international shipping, duties and delivery
- Spotting potential delays and proactively keeping transactions moving
- Maintaining accurate records and helping improve internal processes
- Identifying opportunities to provide an exceptional client experience and support commercial activity

What we’re looking for
You’ll be highly organised, personable and commercially aware, with the confidence to communicate with different teams and respond quickly when priorities change.
Experience within an auction house, gallery or wider art market would be particularly valuable, although we’re also interested in people from luxury or high-end client environments who have a genuine interest in art or are educated in the art world.

- Around 2-3+ years’ experience in coordination, client services or a similar role
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, collaborative approach
- Confidence managing multiple priorities
- A genuine desire to build a long-term career
