About Be The Fox
We're Be The Fox – an independent creative and production agency, fully integrated, agile, smart, and bold. We bring brands to their audiences through stories that cut through. Our clients include Bulldog, BYD, Swift, Hertility Health, and Brighton & Hove Albion FC.
We're female and LGBTQ+ founded and led, certified Women-Owned and AdGreen-accredited. We deliver small agency service with big agency experience - powered by years of hands-on expertise at global broadcasters, top advertising agencies, and the biggest social platforms, but with the care and attention of a boutique.
We're growing – sustainably, but quickly. Now we need a senior client services lead to help us scale that growth without losing what makes us, us.
About the role
We're looking for an experienced Client Services Director to augment the Be the Fox leadership team and own the next chapter of how Be The Fox looks after, develops, and grows its clients.
This is a three-dimensional role: leading best-in-class day-to-day client service, building longer-term, higher-value relationships that move us up the value chain, and partnering with the founders on the operational platform and strategy that the business needs to scale.
You'll own the Be The Fox client services model end-to-end – defining how we run accounts, how we onboard clients, how sales hands off to production, and how we turn projects into long-term partnerships. You'll personally hold a number of our key client relationships, and you'll lead the internal craft of client service across the agency.
The right person is a confident senior operator who's at home with a brand CMO, a creative director, a production team mid-shoot, and a founders' strategy session – often in the same week.
Areas of responsibility
1. Account management & client service excellence
Owning the quality, professionalism, and profitability of how Be The Fox shows up for its clients.
- Lead the client services function and set the standard for how Be The Fox looks after its brands
- Hold senior accountability for a portfolio of key client relationships – acting as senior partner, escalation point, and relationship owner
- Establish, maintain, and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring that Be the Fox is positioned and established as a trusted partner and growth advisor for our clients
- Run accounts and projects to time, scope, budget, and margin – with the rigour expected by global brands and the agility our boutique model is built on
- Provide best-in-class client communications: clear briefs, sharp status, well-managed change, and the difficult conversations handled well
- Oversee internal organisation across client work: liaising with production teams to align clients' briefs, scopes, and projects to ensure timely delivery of brilliant and effective work
- Track account health, project profitability, utilisation, and forecast – flag and resolve commercial or delivery issues early
- Ensure every project, regardless of size, lands in a way that makes the client want the next one

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

2. Account development & new business
Building longer-term, higher-value client relationships – and supporting the new business engine that brings the right clients in.
- Own the Be The Fox account growth approach: how we plan, develop, and grow each strategic relationship over time
- Move clients up the value chain – from project-by-project briefs to retained, multi-asset, strategic partnerships with greater revenue stability
- Identify, qualify, and convert opportunities to expand scope: bigger campaigns, integrated creative + production engagements, additional brands, or markets within the same client group
- Lead account reviews, planning sessions, and senior client check-ins that keep us close to brand strategy and continually provoking the ‘what’s next’ - not just the next shoot
- Support the founders on new business: qualifying inbound, leading discovery conversations, contributing to pitches, proposals, scoping, and commercials
- Own the client onboarding process – designing and running a structured, high-quality experience that sets every new engagement up to win
- Own the alignment between sales and production: ensuring what's sold is what's deliverable, and that production is briefed, resourced, and set up for success from day one
- Partner with marketing and the founders to shape Be The Fox's positioning, propositions, and sector plays – translating client insight back into how we go to market
- Build and maintain referral, partner, and network relationships that generate sustainable opportunity
3. Leadership, operations & strategy
Partnering with the founders to platform Be The Fox for its next stage of growth.
- Act as a senior leadership partner to the founders - a trusted second voice on agency direction, commercial performance, and operational decisions
- Define, build, and own the Be The Fox client services model – the methods, processes, frameworks, and ways of working that make our service repeatable, scalable, and unmistakably ours
- Develop the operational structures and processes the agency needs to grow: pipeline-to-delivery flow, resource planning, scoping and pricing, project governance, financial reporting cadence, tooling, and systems
- Take ownership of key strategic initiatives agreed with the founders – from new service propositions to operational change programmes
- Contribute to business strategy: shaping objectives, plans, and priorities; helping deliver them; tracking what's working and what isn't
- Build, over time and as we grow, the client services team - line-manage, coach, and develop members of the client services team; contribute to recruitment, onboarding, and performance
- Champion and protect Be The Fox's culture and values as the agency scales: agile, smart, bold, integrated, fun
