Applications are invited from candidates who wish to have an opportunity to work within the new Service Delivery Team within the Technical Support Unit.
Role: Client Service Manager
In the role of Client Service Manager, the successful applicant will manage and deliver a range of complex spends to provide the Technical Support Unit (TSU) and Police Scotland with efficient and effective provision of specialist technical procurement services. This will be delivered in line with overall organisational goals and relevant legislation and directives.
Responsibilities
- Take the lead on, and be responsible for, both capital and revenue budgets and spending relating to the TSU.
- Manage and deliver a range of complex spends.
- Ensure adherence to legal and statutory requirements.
- Support delivery of the procurement and supply chain for the Technical Support Unit.
- Have line management responsibility for the Gateway Coordinator.

Requirements
- Desirable: Degree qualified, with experience working with TSU and/or procurement and have a proven history in delivering projects.
- Expert understanding of and demonstrable experience within financial/procurement principles.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and planning skills.
- Willing and able to be vetted to Management Vetting (MV) and Security Clearance (SC).

Working Conditions
- This role is varied, and the successful applicant will be expected to enthusiastically engage in all aspects of the work, including any other tasks consistent with the grading of the role.
- This role will be Monday-Friday.
Citizenship Requirements
Applicants must be a British citizen, a member of the EU or other states in the EEA, a Commonwealth citizen, or a foreign national free of restrictions. You should have been resident in the UK for a minimum of five years immediately prior to application for this role.
