Client Services Manager

Location: Leicester (Midlands)

Employment type: Full Time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

About The Role

As a Client Services Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of the Midlands business, with a focus on developing and securing opportunities across the roads and infrastructure sectors.

You will be responsible for driving sales growth, strengthening market position, and building strong client relationships across the region. Using your existing network and industry knowledge, you will identify, develop and convert opportunities, creating a strong pipeline and contributing to financial targets.

Working closely with operational teams, you will ensure a smooth transition from sales through to delivery, supporting the mobilisation and successful completion of works. You will also contribute to the regional growth strategy, help expand the customer base, and promote the business across wastewater, drainage and infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities through industry networks
  • Building and managing a sustainable sales pipeline using CRM systems
  • Supporting tender preparation, proposals and framework submissions
  • Monitoring market activity, competitors and customer needs
  • Collaborating with operational teams to ensure successful delivery of projects
  • Supporting strategic account planning and cross-selling across the wider business
  • Tracking performance against sales KPIs and pipeline targets

About You

You will be a commercially minded professional with a strong background in wastewater and drainage services and a proven ability to win work and build client relationships.

You will have

  • Previous sales experience in wastewater, drainage or infrastructure sectors
  • Strong client connections within the Midlands
  • Knowledge of CCTV inspections, jetting, tankering and lining
  • Understanding of legislation, health and safety and industry standards
  • Technical or engineering background preferred
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive, resilient and results-driven approach
  • Strong organisation and planning skills
  • Full UK driving licence
