As a Client Services Receptionist, you will help create an exceptional experience for our clients, visitors and colleagues, acting as a key point of contact and helping to shape their impression of our business.

Working within the Corporate Services and Real Estate team, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our reception and client services function. This is an opportunity for a proactive and professional individual who enjoys building relationships, delivering outstanding service and creating a welcoming environment.

What will I be doing?

  • Delivering a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience for clients, visitors and colleagues.
  • Managing guest arrivals through the visitor management system and ensuring a seamless arrival experience.
  • Supporting the day-to-day running of reception and wider client services operations.
  • Building strong working relationships with PAs, Facilities, AV, Catering, Building Management, Events and other support teams.
  • Supporting switchboard coverage and ensuring calls are answered and transferred professionally.
  • Overseeing meeting room readiness, bookings and workspace coordination.
  • Supporting events, including registration, cloakroom services, signage, room set-up and guest management.
  • Maintaining high standards across the client-facing environment, facilities administration and health and safety processes.

What are we looking for?

Essential skills and experience

  • Extensive experience within a reception, front-of-house, hospitality or corporate services environment.
  • A strong client service focus, with a professional, personable and approachable manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • Experience managing meeting rooms, bookings or similar operational processes.
  • Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft 365 and standard office applications.
  • The confidence to work independently, use initiative and take ownership of service standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable skills and experience

  • Experience within a banking or high-end hospitality environment.
  • Exposure to event coordination or workplace services.
  • Experience using room booking or property management systems, such as Manhattan, a hotel property management system or a similar platform.
  • A basic understanding of audio-visual equipment and meeting room technology.
