Role: Entry Technician in Operations Team
As an Entry Technician in our Operations Team, you will provide technical processing support to the Technical Team and Broking Divisions through standard processing activities, in line with compliance, FCA and internal audit guidelines.

This is a development role. You will work within documented processes, seeking guidance and support where required, and building the knowledge and proficiency needed to complete work accurately and within agreed timeframes.
Responsibilities
- Complete standard processing tasks in accordance with documented procedures, seeking guidance and support where required.
- Gather information and complete standard document templates for internal and external distribution.
- Enter, amend, update and validate data accurately on relevant systems.
- Create and maintain accurate electronic and paper files and management information.
- Support documentation checking, claims and premium processing, as applicable to the team.
- Check that information is complete and accurate before progressing work.
- Manage and prioritise allocated work, escalating when support or further knowledge is required.
- Identify potential errors and omissions risks and escalate them promptly.
- Respond professionally and promptly to colleagues and customers.
- Take responsibility for own learning and apply feedback and training in the role.

Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications
- Basic understanding of insurance and reinsurance principles, terminology and common policy terms.
- Awareness of the team’s classes of business and coverage.
- Ability to follow documented processes and procedures accurately.
- Ability to identify key information and solve routine problems with guidance.
- Good attention to detail, organisation, communication, customer service and teamwork skills.
- Ability to use relevant business systems and everyday technology, including Microsoft Excel and Power BI reports.
