This is an exciting time at Bevan Brittan as we launch our new, ambitious strategy through to 2031 building on our exceptional growth during the past 5 years. Our Client Solutions & Innovation Strategy includes the launch of our new Client Solutions Hub including the creation of new roles configuring data and technology to work alongside our lawyers as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing client solutions.

As Business Services Professionals, these new roles form an invaluable part of our client-facing team and so the new roles can expect to regularly interact with clients, as we seek to provide more innovative and better value services. Given this is a new Client Solutions Hub, we are starting with offering limited property-related services but anticipate that the Hub will grow to provide cross-firm services.

The role

This role will focus on tasks forming part of our service delivery that require a high standard of competence in managing data and configuring legal technology platforms.

We are interested in applications from a wide variety of professional backgrounds, particularly with real estate related experience. This could include PAs, conveyancing assistants and similar.

Specific examples of property-related tasks include:

  • Use of our growing list of technology platforms including HighQ and Orbital Witness - setting up and managing sites, use of visual dashboards and workflows;
  • Interaction with our approved third-party partners including Land Registry, TM and Search Acumen (bulk ordering and reviewing data/documents) and with title indemnity insurance providers;
  • Compilation of property data using Excel spreadsheet/CSV file downloads and other data formats;
  • Generating property related title reports utilising generative AI products such as Orbital CoPilot;
  • Undertaking lease reviews using approved playbooks/blueprints in Orbital CoPilot;
  • Providing summaries of documents for client reports;
  • Updating matter trackers and otherwise reporting to clients on progress;

What we are looking for from you

  • Experience working within a commercial law firm setting
  • Ability to interpret and visualise data using Excel and/or iSheets in HighQ or similar
  • Demonstrable attention to detail including compilation and reconciliation of data (text and numeric)
  • Good communication skills both orally and written
  • Ability to build strong working relationships, establish personal credibility and have the confidence to have conversations with colleagues across the business and potentially with clients;
  • Positive, results-focused and with a flexible approach; taking ownership of issues; and pro-active in terms of making improvements to processes;
  • A collaborative team player who works with others effectively and in accordance with our values;
  • A real interest in legal technology and curiosity to identify the art of the possible with passion and persistence to effect change;
