Job Summary
We seek an experienced, passionate, and highly motivated Client Solutions Engineer based in London to bring our technology to life each day, establishing and exemplifying best practices in product activation. Acting as a key technical expert in the execution of FreeWheel’s, and our clients’, most strategically important implementations, Solution Engineers are a key part of the Global Client Services organization tasked with illuminating client usage in support of improving FreeWheel’s offerings. Because of the broad purview, this team must communicate with customers and partners frequently, finding clever solutions to complex problems. Solutions Engineers are expected to draw upon their experience and creativity to ensure the success of FreeWheel’s most demanding client initiatives, often addressing requirements which have never before been asked of FreeWheel by our customers and sales prospects.
Job Description
As the hub of configuration design and product usage, this position is also tasked with developing and sharing best practices across FreeWheel and providing support to Client Services, standardizing proven solutions for the improvement of team performance, and acting as a trusted expert both internally and externally.
FreeWheel’s Global Client Services philosophy is based on establishing long-standing client relationships formulated foremost on trust.
As such, other key elements and duties of a successful Solutions Engineer include:
- Develop and document business and technical solutions for client project execution
- Execute standard feature enablement and client onboardings
- Assist in complex implementations, and clarify appropriate resolution paths for new or unclear use cases working with Senior and Lead SEs
- Provides timely, technical support and problem resolution for escalated field service questions from support team
- Act as primary liaison between the client, account team, engineering and product management teams, providing guidance and feedback on product usage and gaps or needs
- Provide advice to Marketing, Product Marketing and Revenue Development on “story”, materials, and product features
- Provide primary technical expertise in FreeWheel’s most highly strategic pre-sales efforts in case a prospect needs deep technical insight into FreeWheel’s technology
- Provide training to our internal teams, and occasionally to our clients

About You
- BA/BS degree and experience with video technologies and/or online advertising a plus
- Willing and able to be extremely “hands-on”, in both technical and non-technical aspects when dealing with clients and teammates
- You have strong communication skills – this position requires significant amount of client interaction. Being a Solutions Engineer is all about explaining how the technology solves the business problem. You should be able to do this well, to any audience; from developers to executives, in a way that both communicates value and achieves the desired results.
- You have solid skills with web/mobile technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, ActionScript 3, Objective C, XML, etc. The more the better.
- You should have working knowledge of database structures and SQL
- You think creatively and solve problems actively. This is not a position where requirements or solutions will be spoon fed to the team.
- Experience in programmatic ad serving (DSP/SSP) is a plus

Education
Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
