Client Solutions Internship (Final Year Students)

Who are we?

Enlighten Learning is a growing education startup providing tailored one-to-one online tuition across GCSE and A-Level subjects. Our tutors are carefully selected, high-achieving students from some of the UK’s leading universities who combine strong academic backgrounds with the ability to connect with and guide younger students through their educational journey.

We take a personalised approach to learning. We speak with every client to understand each student’s specific needs, goals and personality before matching them with a tutor who we believe is best suited to them.

Enlighten Learning started as an idea between two friends who had seen first-hand the impact of Covid on students’ education. Since then, we’ve quickly grown into a small team based in Central London, supporting students and tutors across the UK. Despite how far we’ve come, we’re still very much at the beginning of what we want to build. To support our next stage of growth, we are now launching our Client Solutions Internship.

The internship is a highly competitive part-time opportunity for ambitious final year students or recent graduates looking to build transferable skills in sales, client service and operations within a startup environment. It is particularly well suited to those who are in their final year of University and have a keen interest in sales or entrepreneurship. You will also work directly with Enlighten Learning’s co-founders, receiving regular coaching, feedback and hands-on exposure to how a successful start-up grows day-to-day. Upon completion of the Internship, one member will be offered a full-time return position starting in August 2027.

About the Role

You will work as a Client Solutions Associate where you will be one of the key drivers of Enlighten Learning’s growth.

Your main responsibility will be to speak with lukewarm inbound leads who are actively looking for online tuition, understand their needs, and guide them towards using Enlighten Learning for their tutoring solution.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Hold consultative calls with potential clients to understand their academic needs and advise them on the most suitable package.
  • Match the student with a suitable tutor based on their needs and preferences.
  • Schedule and arrange the client’s first week of lessons, balancing the client’s and tutor’s availability.
  • Keep regular contact with the clients over their first week of lessons and solve any problems that might arise during onboarding whilst ensuring the CRM is up to date.

Most of these responsibilities will be done during ‘Call Shifts’. These are 4 hour timeslots throughout the week where you will be responsible for all incoming leads during the shift.

This is a part-time, remote position that requires a minimum of 8 hours per week (split between 2 x 4 hour shifts) and around 3 hours per week of ad-hoc administrative work outside of shifts. Most shifts take place in the morning & evenings. On weekends, shifts are available anytime.

You will also be required to attend online learning & development and occasional visits to the office for in-person training. Any training requiring travel and in-person attendance will be fully paid for by the company.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Self-Disciplined: You will need to consistently deliver at 100% effort despite regular rejection and continue working at a high standard with limited supervision.
  • Organised: You will have the responsibility of managing a large number of clients and ad-hoc tasks both during and outside of shifts.
  • Ambitious: This is a highly competitive role with many transferable skills where you will need to show consistent results in order to progress through the stages.
  • Entrepreneurial/ Self Starter: You get a large amount of autonomy in the role, with your success and compensation being directly related to your effort and ability.
