Client Solutions Specialist

Location: Northampton, on site with 1 day working from home each week

We're a fast-growing, global organisation on the lookout for two Client Solutions Specialists to join our Onboarding Team. If you're organised, love working with clients, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to our Head of Onboarding, you'll own the end-to-end onboarding of new clients to J&J, from Sales handover through system setup, first deliveries, go-live, and hyper care. You'll be the client's single point of contact throughout, managing a portfolio of onboardings through our 11-stage lifecycle. You'll review each Sales handover, confirm scope and go-live dates, run the client call journey from discovery through to go-live, and build and maintain project timelines that track milestones, risks, and dependencies.

  • You'll work hands-on with clients to set up their accounts in our own WMS software, ControlPort, including products, shipping rules, carrier services, and packaging.
  • You'll support channel integrations such as Shopify, marketplaces, and API, test order flow end-to-end, complete pre-go-live checks including VAT/EORI and compliance data, and deliver tailored ControlPort training.
  • You'll also coordinate first deliveries with our Goods In team, making sure product data, ASNs, and inbound requirements are in place.

You'll keep onboardings on track by working closely with Sales, Client Services, Goods In, Finance, US Operations, and our Carrier teams, raising risks early and spotting upselling opportunities along the way. Once a client is live, you'll manage the hyper care period and complete a smooth handover to our Client Services / Account Management team, keeping Salesforce records accurate and helping us continuously improve our onboarding process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
