Marketing Executive or Assistant
If you’re an experienced Marketing Executive or Assistant looking for your next role, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll join the Client Success team at a sector-leading agency in the heart of Nottingham, working closely with financial advisers and planners.
If the following describes you, we want to hear from you:
- You’re passionate about marketing
- You’re confident engaging with clients on the phone and video calls
- You’ll be highly organised and capable of managing multiple projects at the same time
- You’ve got a great eye for detail and understand that mistakes destroy client confidence
- In your current role, you’ll have built up a broad range of experience in digital marketing skills
- You’re happy to work 2-3 days a week from our office in the very heart of Nottingham’s Creative Quarter
- You’ve got a couple of years’ experience in an agency or similar environment, and now’s the time to take on more responsibility and showcase your skills
Note: We don’t mean to be boring, but we will only consider applications that provide a CV and a covering letter. If you provide samples of your work, that’s even better.
About the Role
You will be expected to deliver projects on time and to the highest quality. We want someone who isn’t afraid of being held to high standards.
As Steve Jobs said: “Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren’t used to an environment where excellence is expected.”
On any given day, you will be:
- Analysing our clients’ marketing KPIs
- Writing copy for a variety of platforms
- Promoting our clients’ webinars and events
- Liaising with our clients by email, phone and video calls
- Leading ongoing marketing calls with the clients you are responsible for
- Managing project deadlines and delivery across a multi-disciplinary team
- Helping to deliver the marketing strategies we’ve developed for our clients
- Helping our clients to develop social proof through surveys and online reviews

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
