Lead Operational Delivery Manager
You know the feeling. When a critical account hits turbulence, you’re the one who fixes the engine. You spotted the booking bottleneck before it hit the floor, turned a shaky SLA around before QBRs, and built the servicing model that made the client stay.
You’ve been doing the heavy lifting behind the scenes. Now, come and lead it properly. You’ve been delivering the customer promise for years. Time for you to own the operation.
This growing TMC are building an operational delivery function around their most strategic, complex corporate accounts.
This is a hybrid role, with a day or two per week at your local office: either Liss in Hampshire or Kew in West London. Salary circa £50,000 basic + bonus.
Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you won’t just manage tickets, you’ll design the service architecture and own the operational environment that makes complex programmes run brilliantly.

What you will be doing...
- Build and govern bespoke, resilient servicing models for the enterprise customer portfolio.
- Turn operational MI, CSAT, and workflow data into root-cause fixes, stopping service failures before they hit the client.
- Stand as the senior operational escalation point when high-stakes accounts need decisive recovery plans.
- Partner with Tech and Ops teams to eliminate manual floor friction, automate queues, and optimise booking tech (Sabre, Spotnana, Front).
- Lead, coach, and empower a specialist customer support team.
