About PF Nexus
PF Nexus is a London-based AI-first marketplace connecting renewable energy and AI infrastructure developers with institutional investors, financiers, and acquirers across Europe. We've built a network of 8,500+ professionals and 5,000+ companies, and we're at an inflection point - the platform is gaining traction, deal flow is growing, and we're building the team to scale it.
We're a small, close-knit founding team and this is one of our most important hires to date. You'll be working directly with the founders from day one.
The role
This is a broad, client-facing operational role at the heart of how PF Nexus engages with its users. You'll be the human face of our platform for a lot of our subscribers - handling inbound queries, managing introduction feedback, running outreach campaigns, keeping our CRM clean, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
It's not a single-function role. One day you might be handling a client query in HubSpot, the next you're chasing introduction feedback using our in-house LLM toolset, the next you're drafting a community newsletter or helping set up an outbound campaign in Apollo. If variety and ownership appeal to you, this is that kind of role.
Over time, as the business grows and we make specialist hires, the role will evolve - tasks will be handed off and new ones will take their place. We're looking for someone who finds that energising rather than unsettling.
What you'll be doing
The role has three core areas of ownership, which you'll build into progressively over your first three months.
1. Client Support & Engagement
The first point of contact for our professional network of 8,500+ developers, investors, and advisors. You'll manage inbound queries, run proactive check-ins to keep subscribers engaged, handle user onboarding communications, and lead post-churn calls with departing subscribers to understand why and retain where possible. Over time you'll also join onboarding and post-introduction calls with buyers and sellers on the platform.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
From day one: inbound queries, client check-ins, subscription payment tracking and failed payment chasers. From month two: user onboarding emails and calls, post-churn calls.
2. Deal Pipeline & Feedback Management
The connective tissue between our marketplace introductions and our CRM. You'll manage our introduction feedback pipeline in HubSpot - keeping stages and notes current, interpreting feedback, and spotting where deals may be progressing. You'll run our outbound feedback sequences and handle responses, working with an LLM-assisted tool to process and log data efficiently.
From day one: HubSpot pipeline management, outbound sequences and responses.
3. Commercial Outreach & Growth
Working closely with the founders to help grow the platform's subscriber base and investor engagement. You'll run cold outreach and open-to-investment campaigns via Apollo, nurture leads from our existing CRM audience, and help identify and reach the right target audiences. Writing quality and commercial judgement matter here - you'll be crafting copy and testing what converts.
From month one to two: outreach campaigns, lead nurturing, audience segmentation.
Who we're looking for
Essential:
- Excellent written English - you'll be corresponding daily with senior professionals at investment funds, development banks, and energy companies
- 2+ years in a client-facing role - customer success, account management, operations, or similar at a B2B company
- Highly organised and self-sufficient - comfortable managing a varied task list without being micromanaged
- Strong eye for detail, obsessive over data hygiene
- Familiarity with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) as part of your workflow
- Proactive mindset - you spot things that need doing and do them, rather than waiting to be told
- Comfortable learning new tools quickly - we use HubSpot, Apollo, Contentful, Stripe, Slack, and Loom among others
- UK-based - we're remote-first for now but will be meeting periodically in London, with a likely move to hybrid working (2-3 days in a London office) within the next few months
