About the Role

As a Research Executive within Ipsos Channel Performance (ChP), you'll play a key role in delivering mystery shopping programmes that help clients understand and improve customer experience and operational performance. Channel Performance is the UK's largest provider of mystery shopping services, working with leading organisations across retail, hospitality and telecommunications. 

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of client programmes, ensuring projects are delivered accurately, on time and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with clients, operations teams and mystery shoppers, you'll help solve problems, streamline processes and turn complex data into meaningful insights.

About You

Essential Skills

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with large datasets.
  • Ability to identify key findings and translate data into meaningful insights.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build effective client relationships.
  • Ability to follow established processes while proactively identifying improvements.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in AI use and adoption to enhance day-to-day tasks.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience within mystery shopping, customer experience or market research.
  • Understanding of retail, hospitality or telecommunications sectors.
  • Passion for understanding people, customer behaviour and market trends.
  • Experience producing client-facing reports and presentations.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.
