Client & Supply Chain Relationship Manager (6 month secondment)

The Estates Integrator model is an integrated approach for the strategic management of estates and facilities services which is an evolving model in the FM market.

As part of the ongoing growth of its Estates Integrator, KBR is actively recruiting to expand its team to deliver current and future public sector Estates Integrator contracts.

About the Role

The Client & Supply Chain Relationship Manager will be accountable to the Account Director and will be the main point of contact in relation to communicating to the client on progress and reporting on performance.

The Client & Supply Chain Relationship Manager will be responsible for developing effective tripartite relationships with client and supply chain stakeholders and driving productive collaboration. This will include using data from KBR systems to review performance and developing trends.

Role Responsibilities

The Client & Supply Chain Relationship Manager role includes:

  • Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders across KBR, the client and the client’s supply chain.
  • Facilitating and documenting regular meetings with the client and their supply chain.
  • Documenting corrective actions and managing to completion with the appropriate owner.
  • Regularly reviewing performance and ensure operational and contractual standards are met against agreed metrics and KPIs.
  • Ensure that client concerns are dealt with effectively and in a timely fashion.
  • Generate and deliver all relevant management reporting to regularly communicate effective measurement of all key metrics on a regular basis.
  • Ensuring the operational team are:
    • Conducting regular monitoring of their performance against the applicable benchmarked criteria and KPIs.
    • Identifying positive/negative trends in performance and continuous improvement opportunities to reduce cost, improve quality and performance and take proactive corrective action where necessary.
    • Continuously monitoring performance through monitoring of data and liaison with other members of the KBR team including quality, HSE and risk management.
    • Supporting preparation of client governance meetings by collating required information, and reports and distributing in advance.
  • Develop and implement contract newsletters to ensure communication of key changes and achievements are communicated and documented on a regular basis.
  • Line management Account Management Project Administrator.
  • Lead, coordinate, and report on all contractual Social Value and Life Chances initiatives, ensuring alignment with client objectives and measurable outcomes are captured and communicated through governance reporting.
  • Oversee the contract’s Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) compliance, coordinating annual reviews with internal stakeholders, ensuring documentation meets contractual standards, and managing client sign-off through the relevant governance forums.
  • Support and coordinate recurring governance forums, ensuring action logs, decision records, and performance data are accurate, consistent, and circulated to all parties ahead of each meeting.
  • Liaise across internal operational functions (Helpdesk, CAFM, BI, Estates Intelligence, Supply Chain) to ensure data integrity, timely issue resolution, and consistency in client communication.

Essential

  • Member of a supply chain related professional body e.g. MCIPS/IWFM.
  • Previous supply chain and supplier management and/or performance management.
  • Experience of managing a multi-service, multi-site, supply chain within the UK.
  • Developed interpersonal skills, and ability to build relationships cross functionally & collaboratively and to be able to manage stakeholders at all levels effectively.
  • Self-starter who is focused on performance and delivering results against a continuously changing environment.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management.
  • Effective time management with the ability to multi-task.
  • Full security clearance, or be in a position to obtain security clearance for multiple client Organisations.
  • Approachable individual with a professional manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel functions.
  • Ability to work as part of an integrated team and independently, as required.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.

Desired

  • Experienced with technical and administrative document control procedures.
  • Experience of SharePoint.

The role is office based in either Leatherhead or Swindon. A hybrid role with routine travel to KBR and client offices across the UK.
