Role Overview

You will play a pivotal role at the intersection of property management and finance, providing accurate, timely and transparent accounting that underpins great service for our clients and residents. As a trusted specialist, you will bring composure, clarity and a solutions mindset to complex service charge accounting, ensuring every development’s finances are well-managed and clearly communicated.

Working closely with Property Managers, clients and auditors, you will take ownership of end-to-end accounting cycles, transforming data into reliable accounts, insightful reports and smooth year-end processes. Your professionalism and attention to detail will help deliver a consistent, high-quality experience across a varied UK portfolio.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

Most days you will prepare, review and reconcile service charge accounts, answer client and leaseholder queries, and collaborate with Property Managers to keep each development’s finances running smoothly. You will manage year-end packs and audits, monitor cashflow and ledgers, and provide clear, proactive updates that build confidence and reduce queries.

What Success Looks Like

  • Accurate ledgers, reconciliations and cash positions across your portfolio at all times.
  • Clear, proactive communication that resolves client and leaseholder queries quickly.
  • Meaningful financial insights that support better budgeting and cost control.
  • Robust process control and documentation that improves efficiency and reduces risk.
  • Strong relationships with Property Managers, suppliers and auditors built on trust and reliability.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
