Lordstone Financial Planning is a Partner Practice of St. James's Place Wealth Management, based in Spinningfields, Manchester. We help clients achieve their financial aspirations through highly personal service and high-quality advice, backed by over 70 years of combined professional experience across our team. The Role
We are looking for a Client Support Administrator to join our team in Manchester. This is a full-time role providing administrative and client support to our financial planners, and it is ideal for someone committed to providing the best possible service to our clients. It is also an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in financial services and wealth management. Full training will be provided, along with a genuine path for progression.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to financial planners and take ownership of routine client servicing
- Prepare and process client documentation, ensuring files are complete and accurate
- Update and maintain client records on our CRM system
- Support pre-meeting preparation and post-meeting follow-up
- Answer incoming calls and handle client enquiries professionally and confidently
- Liaise with product providers and internal teams to progress applications and track service requests
- Manage appointment scheduling and diary coordination
- Produce templated client letters and reports
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards throughout
About You
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- You enjoy administrative, detail-focused work as much as you enjoy helping people
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- A professional, reliable manner with a genuine interest in building a career in financial planning
- Willing to study towards professional qualifications
- Previous office or customer service experience is an advantage, but not essential
- A-levels or equivalent; further education or administrative qualifications are a bonus

The Details
- Full-time, based in our Manchester office, with one day working from home following probation
- Salary from £26,000, dependent on experience (plus company bonuses)
Training and Progression
- Fully funded study support towards the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice
- Structured development with the opportunity to progress into either a technical paraplanner role or a client-facing adviser role
- Ongoing support and mentoring from an experienced team
