Delegated authority is built on trust, technical expertise and attention to detail. This role is for someone who thrives in complexity, brings confidence to stakeholders and helps shape robust delegated authority arrangements that support long-term growth. You'll work across underwriting, compliance, claims and operations, ensuring agreements are accurate, compliant and commercially effective while driving continuous improvement across the delegated authority lifecycle. What you’ll own
- Own the creation and delivery of binding authority, reinsurance and related documentation, helping ensure every agreement is clear, compliant and fit for purpose.
- Partner with underwriters, brokers and insurers to build trusted relationships that keep delegated authority arrangements aligned and performing effectively.
- Act as the technical expert on delegated authority matters, providing guidance that drives confident and consistent decision-making.
- Strengthen governance by maintaining delegated authority frameworks and identifying opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.
- Use market knowledge and technical judgement to ensure documentation reflects the correct clauses, conditions and jurisdictional requirements.
