About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work with Quilter Financial Advisers (QFA), which comprises of two Appointed Representatives within the QFP Network.

The Client Transition Manager will be responsible for co-ordinating the effective transition of clients into the Advice Hub, a team of employed advisers within Quilter Financial Advisers who deliver high-quality ongoing financial advice. This includes clients joining Quilter through internal acquisitions within the QFP Network, as well as external acquisitions. The role will also oversee wider client reallocations across QFA outside of acquisition activity, where clients are transferred to self-employed advisers within the business. Each transition must be carefully managed to minimise disruption, maintain continuity of service and support a positive client experience.

The role will involve coordinating relevant internal and external stakeholders to support the safe and effective transition of clients to their new adviser. This includes maintaining consistency in client communications before and after acquisition and ensuring both clients and advisers are positioned to achieve positive outcomes in the future.

Reporting to the Head of Business Performance & Governance, the successful candidate will join the Business Performance Team and play a key role in acquisition activity. They will work closely with selling, leaving and receiving advisers to ensure pre- and post-transition activities are completed effectively. The role will provide oversight of the additional steps required to support a smooth client transition, ensuring these are delivered to schedule and to a high standard.

In addition, the role will support the leadership team with the scheduling of future acquisitions and resource planning across the adviser population.

As the client transition process continues to evolve, the Client Transition Manager will play an important role in supporting process improvements and ensuring changes are delivered effectively.

About You

To be able to demonstrate previous experience in the following key areas:

  • Project management/co-ordination
  • Management of internal & external stakeholders
  • Understanding of the advice framework & ongoing service delivery
  • Data analysis & report writing
  • Client relationship management
  • Change management

The Client Transition Manager will have a track record of working in financial services.

  • Delivery focused, with high energy and drive, and ability to deliver through others.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills – able to build relationships and lead through influence at different levels.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Confident in analysis of data and ability to translate into clear outcomes.
  • Focused on results and achievement of targets.
  • High level of personal confidence, able to lead and manage change through influence.
