About the Role
Global Business Connects Ltd builds and operates a growing portfolio of businesses, including Fruitee, Trendr and African Farm. We're looking for a smart, energetic recent graduate who wants to learn fast, take responsibility and get involved across different parts of the business.
This is not a narrow role. One day you might be helping with a client campaign; the next, testing a product feature, researching a market, organising information or helping solve an operational problem. If you see something that needs doing and get on with it, you'll fit in well.
What You'll Be Doing
- Client support - Communicating with clients, following up and helping get things done.
- Campaigns - Helping coordinate marketing, outreach and influencer campaigns.
- Product testing - Testing our apps, spotting problems and giving clear feedback.
- Research - Researching companies, markets, competitors, influencers and opportunities.
- Operations & admin - Supporting day-to-day projects, records, organisation and follow-ups.
- Social media - Supporting content, creators and social activity when required.
- AI & technology - Using ChatGPT and other tools, and learning the platforms we use.
- Whatever else needs doing - We're growing, so priorities change and new tasks come up.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience & Training
Ideal for a recent graduate or someone at the beginning of their career. You don't need years of experience. We care more about whether you're bright, dependable, adaptable and willing to work hard. We will train you on our products, systems and processes.
Career Growth
This is not intended to remain a junior role. Someone who performs well, takes ownership and can manage clients and campaigns independently will have the opportunity to grow into a Campaign Lead role, with greater responsibility for campaigns, clients and team coordination.
