Description
Shape Growth Across the Business
As our Clients & Markets team continues to evolve, we're looking for a commercially focused Clients & Markets Business Partner to work closely with senior stakeholders across the firm, with a focus on real estate, helping to drive client growth, market opportunities and strategic business development initiatives.
This is a highly visible role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. Working alongside partners, practice leaders and business services colleagues, you'll help identify growth opportunities, strengthen key client relationships and ensure the firm is well positioned in the markets in which it operates.
The role offers the opportunity to influence decision-making, contribute to firm-wide priorities and play a key part in delivering commercial success within a collaborative and ambitious professional services environment.
Why Join Us?
This is an opportunity to be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, shaping business development priorities and helping translate strategy into tangible outcomes.
You'll join a team that values commercial insight, relationship building and continuous improvement, working on initiatives that have a direct impact on client retention, revenue growth and the firm's market profile.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with practice groups, sector teams and senior stakeholders to develop and deliver business development and growth plans.
- Act as a trusted advisor to partners, providing strategic guidance on client development, market positioning and opportunity generation.
- Identify and evaluate market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead the development and execution of client growth initiatives, campaigns and sector-focused programmes.
- Support key client programmes and identify key accounts, helping to strengthen relationships and realise cross-selling opportunities across the firm.
- Facilitate strategic planning discussions and help stakeholders translate objectives into actionable plans.
- Use data, market intelligence and performance metrics to evaluate activity, identify opportunities and measure success.
- Collaborate with wider marketing, communications, events and digital teams to ensure aligned delivery of client and market initiatives.
- Contribute to pitches, proposals and panel appointments, providing strategic input and guidance where required.
- Build strong internal networks and foster collaboration across practices and business services teams.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, enhance client experience and drive commercial effectiveness.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
