Your new company

You will be joining an international transport company within their property and estates team focusing on their UK portfolio. The role will be based in their Yorkshire and Northeast region but with travel for a national portfolio.

Your new role

To manage the day-to-day Facilities Management operations across the UK Group office locations, primarily focused on the Head office in the Northeast whilst also supporting the London and Midlands office facilities. The role is responsible for ensuring the offices are safe, compliant, efficient, and professionally managed, providing a positive workplace environment for colleagues and visitors. The role will lead local FM operations, including maintenance planning, contractor management, projects, compliance, service procurement, and office services across the locations. The role will also manage the Office Services and Reception teams, ensuring professional front-of-house services and consistent workplace standards are maintained across all office locations.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience within Facilities Management, office management, workplace operations, or similar environments.
  • Experience preparing contractor scopes, service specifications, and coordinating procurement or tender activities.
  • Experience managing contractors, suppliers, maintenance activities, and workplace services.
  • Experience supervising office support, reception, or administrative teams desirable.
  • Good understanding of health & safety, contractor control, and workplace compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting office projects, workplace improvements, or refurbishment activities.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office systems and general reporting tools.
  • IOSH qualification.

In return, you will get a competitive salary of £45,000-£55,000 depending on your experience, as well as a competitive benefits package.
