Join us as a Climate Lead, Vice President

Take on a role in our Commercial and Institutional team with significant focus across the business, in which you'll be leading the delivery of the Commercial and Institutional (C&I) sustainability objectives through business strategy and supporting the successful delivery of Transition & Resilience Tooling, including the Climate Decisioning Framework (CDF).

You will use industry guidance and frameworks to develop customer assessment methodologies for customer transition plans, transition and physical risks as well as supporting embedding and capability in the business. With your contribution to the sustainability agenda, you'll be helping us to achieve a purpose-focused culture that inspires colleague engagement and involvement at all levels.

The role is available as a 12-month Secondment.

As a Climate Lead, you'll be assisting with activities to prepare the business to effectively enable change in relation to our C&I sustainability agenda. You'll be supporting the development of key transition and resilience tooling which are used by the business to support our customers, most notably CDF.

You'll Also Be

  • Supporting the development of how we assess customer transition plans and climate & sustainability risk across C&I and practical solutions to implement
  • Supporting and influencing the relevant business areas across C&I to ensure the effective delivery against agreed priorities
  • Working closely with tech & data partners to implement solutions in systems
  • Supporting business and senior stakeholders understanding of tools and how they support our overall strategy
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders, including respective franchise climate partners and central sustainability and tech teams
  • Advising on sustainability-related training, development, and learning within C&I to support embedding of climate frameworks

The Skills You'll Need

We're looking for someone with a good understanding of current and emerging policy on sustainability, coupled with experience of supporting and delivering strategic projects that support the business strategy and its growth agenda. An understanding of sustainability data and current developments will be beneficial to the role.

You'll Also Bring

  • Comfort in engaging with diverse stakeholders and contributing as a team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver impactful presentations
  • Experience with applications, tech delivery, or project management
