Freelance Clinical Educator/Nurse Trainer - Scotland & North of England
Role Description
As a Freelance Clinical Trainer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programmes covering clinical practice in health and social care.
The role will be contract-based with the position requiring some travel around sites and the flexibility to work from home for virtual courses.
The day-to-day duties of the role will include:
- Planning and delivering training sessions
- Designing training materials
- Assessing the impact of training programmes
- Developing new courses or adapting existing ones as necessary
Essentials
Subject and hands-on practical experience in topics such as:
- Venepuncture
- Suction and Oxygen
- Tracheostomy
- Catheterisation
- Syringe Driver
- Cough Assist
- PEG Feeding
- First Aid

Qualifications
- Nurse with valid NMC registration
- A relevant teaching/training qualification (e.g. AET, PTLLS, CTLLS, or equivalent)
- Experience delivering training within a health and social care environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Experience of assessment processes
- Familiar with the latest developments in clinical practice and learning

Predominantly days but flexibility required to meet client's needs.
