Hours

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours between 8AM - 6PM

This is a Fixed Term contract covering maternity; contract duration likely to be around 12 months (is subject to possible change).

Are you an organised, proactive and customer-focused administrator looking to make a real difference in healthcare?

We are seeking a Clinic Administrator to join our patient-centred renal clinic in Burnley.

As the first point of contact for patients, visitors and healthcare partners, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient running of the clinic while helping to deliver an exceptional patient experience.

This is a varied and rewarding position that combines customer service, administration and operational support within a collaborative healthcare environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Clinic Manager and Deputy Clinic Manager, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across the clinic, ensuring key processes, reports and communications are managed effectively and on time.

The successful candidate will be confident working independently, capable of prioritising competing tasks, and committed to delivering a professional and welcoming service to patients and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist patients, visitors and stakeholders in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Provide administrative support to the Clinic Manager, Deputy Clinic Manager and wider clinical team.
  • Act as a key point of contact for the referring Trust and hospital partners.
  • Prepare meeting materials, reports and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with patient documentation requests and record management.
  • Facilitate patient surveys and feedback processes.
  • Manage clinic stock levels and place orders in a timely manner.
  • Prepare reports relating to treatment activity, billing and reconciliations.
  • Monitor reporting deadlines and support the timely completion of required submissions.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.

What We're Looking For

  • GCSE-level education or equivalent.
  • Previous administrative experience, including diary management and coordination.
  • Experience working within healthcare, hospital administration or a customer-facing environment.
  • Stock control and ordering experience.
  • Strong reporting, data reconciliation and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
