Practice Manager (Clinic Manager)

Private Dental Practice

East London
£45,000 - £50,000 plus bonus of up to £6,000

About the Role

Lead an established private dental practice and shape its next chapter.

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead a well-established, fully private dental practice in East London.

This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead within a successful practice with a strong local reputation, loyal patient base and experienced clinical team. The practice has recently undergone refurbishment and operates across eight surgeries, offering a broad range of private general and specialist dentistry.

The Opportunity

As Practice Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day performance of the practice, leading and developing the team while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.

You will have the autonomy to make decisions, improve processes and bring your own ideas to the practice, with support from experienced central teams across areas including Finance, Marketing, HR, Recruitment and Operations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, motivating and developing the practice team
  • Managing day-to-day practice operations
  • Supporting the delivery of an exceptional patient experience
  • Driving practice performance and commercial results
  • Monitoring KPIs and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and staff development
  • Building strong relationships with clinicians, colleagues and patients
  • Ensuring high standards of compliance, governance and operational delivery
  • Contributing ideas and initiatives to support the continued growth of the practice

About You

We are looking for an experienced Dental Practice Manager with a strong background in private dentistry and a genuine passion for people leadership.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience managing a dental practice
  • Experience leading and developing a larger team
  • Strong operational and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A coaching-led approach to people management
  • A strong focus on patient experience and clinical standards
  • The confidence to make decisions and take ownership
  • The ability to build positive relationships with clinicians and wider teams
