We are looking for an organised, proactive and compassionate FLS Administrator to join our Fracture Liaison Service team.

Working closely with our Fracture Liaison Specialist Practitioners, you will play an important role in supporting patients through their care pathway, helping to ensure that they receive timely, coordinated and effective support.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate the day-to-day administrative activities of the Fracture Liaison Service.
  • Monitor patient pathways and help ensure that patients progress through their care in a timely manner.
  • Proactively recognise potential problems and work with colleagues to address them.
  • Work closely with the FLS Specialist Practitioners and wider clinical teams to support a smooth and effective patient journey.
  • Provide a professional, friendly and responsive service to patients, colleagues and other healthcare professionals.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be highly organised, proactive and approachable, with excellent communication and telephone skills. You’ll be comfortable working independently, prioritising competing demands and knowing when to seek support or escalate an issue.

Join us and become an important part of a team that helps patients receive the right support at the right time.

The role is primarily based at Wexham Park Hospital, with cross-site working across Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust as required.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work across Frimley Health acute trust sites, providing specialist administrative support to the Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) and contributing to the effective management of patients with fragility fractures.

The Clinical Administration Support Officer plays an integral role in supporting the development, monitoring, and coordination of patient pathways within the FLS.

The post holder will help ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and effective communication throughout the fragility fracture pathway.

Key responsibilities include booking appointments and blood tests, monitoring and validating DEXA scan waiting times, and escalating concerns or delays to the clinical team as appropriate.

Effective tracking and monitoring of fragility fracture pathways will support the Trust in delivering the objectives of the Thames Valley Integrated Care System by promoting integrated, evidence-based care, reducing unwarranted variation, and strengthening secondary fracture prevention.

The role will contribute to the achievement of commissioning requirements, NICE guidance, and national standards of care while supporting improved patient outcomes, reducing future fracture risk, and enhancing system-wide efficiency across the Thames Valley region.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
