Do you want to support patients and clinicians at your local NHS Trust?

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Obstetrics & Gynaecology department supporting the Consultants and their clinical teams. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of our services and play a vital role in supporting patient care.

We’re Looking For Someone Who

  • Has excellent attention to detail and strong written English, including spelling and grammar
  • Is committed to delivering high-quality work
  • Is flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Is confident using IT systems and thrives in a busy environment
  • Holds GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent and communicates professionally

Experience with NHS systems or in a healthcare setting is an advantage, but not essential — we’re happy to train the right person who’s eager to learn.

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, bring positive energy, and want to be part of a team that’s making a real difference, we’d love to hear from you. This is more than just an admin role—it’s a chance to develop your skills, support your community, and be part of something meaningful.

This role is entirely office based.

In this role you’ll be proof-reading and editing clinical letters and reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity in patient communications. You’ll carry out a variety of administrative tasks to keep things organised and efficient. You’ll be part of a team that works behind the scenes to support clinicians and improve patient experience. You will have lots of patient contact on the telephone and must be able to deal sympathetically with patients and relatives. You should have the ability to work unsupervised and under pressure. Please refer to the job description attached for further details.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
