Clinical Advisor for Beds and Pressure Relieving/Redistributing Equipment
We are seeking to appoint a clinical advisor for beds and pressure relieving/redistributing equipment. The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, well organised and work within an extremely fast paced environment.
Role Details
This post is for 8 and a half hours per week, (working pattern open to discussion) and would ideally suit an Allied Health Professional or Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Provide a single point of access for the authorisation of beds and pressure area care equipment via ICES.
- Act as a resource on matters related to beds and pressure area care equipment for ICES commissioners, contract managers and providers, and for clinicians and prescribers using ICES.
- Deliver training on care equipment to CPFT community nurses and carry out home visits where necessary, for example to fit a tilting device.
Requirements
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have use of a vehicle.
- Travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team, with some independent working anticipated.
- Good problem solving skills, creativity, and innovation in approach.
- Maintain effective relationships and personal resilience to manage under pressure and in challenging situations.
