Role Description
The Clinical and Administrative Volunteer in Egypt role offered through AIESEC in Edinburgh is a full-time, on-site position in Cairo, Egypt.
In this role, the volunteer supports clinical and administrative operations, including:
- Assisting with basic patient-related tasks under supervision
- Organizing records
- Helping maintain accurate documentation

The position involves:
- Collaborating with medical and administrative teams
- Contributing to data collection for clinical research

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess basic Medicine-related knowledge, with the ability to support supervised clinical tasks in a healthcare setting.
- Candidates should possess strong communication skills, and English is required to interact effectively with patients, medical staff, and administrative teams.
- Candidates should possess Research and Clinical Research skills, such as data collection, documentation, and adherence to research protocols.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include cultural sensitivity, adaptability to new environments, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams.
- Previous experience in healthcare, social work, or volunteering, as well as relevant academic studies in medicine, public health, or related fields, is an advantage.
