Clinical Application Specialist - Physics
Location
Field-based – Overnight travel as and when the role requires.
Role
This is a highly customer-facing role that is suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, supporting clinical teams and working collaboratively across both clinical and commercial environments. It is the role of the Clinical Application Specialist to provide high-quality training, technical assistance and post-sales support to our customers via phone, web, email and during field visits. The role requires good technical knowledge and effective communication to support our customers with continuous improvements and training on a wide variety of products. The candidate is expected to build strong working relationships and work collaboratively with the sales team to support long-term account development and customer engagement.

Responsibilities
- Provide service and customer support remotely and during field visits
- Attend meetings, sales events and training to stay up-to-date on product developments
- Develop strong relationships with clinical teams, physicists, dosimetrist and key stakeholders across customer sites.
- Support the sales team by carrying out pre and post sales demonstrations
- Carry out applications training, installations and ongoing after-sales customer support
- Support national and local exhibitions
- Keep abreast of best practices and industry trends
- Develop and maintain our technical knowledge library
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues
- Provide telephone and remote support to customers and internal personnel on a regular basis
- Provide an exceptional level of service to our customers and internal teams
- Proactively engage with customers for product utilisation and continuous improvement
- Ensure conformance to all appropriate policies, procedures and forms as detailed in the company Quality Management System

Requirements
- Proven experience in the radiotherapy physics and/or dosimetry field
- Ability to travel, work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
