The Opportunity

As a Clinical Applications Specialist - Ultrasound, you will be the trusted clinical expert supporting healthcare professionals across Southwest England and Wales.

Working closely with Sales, Service and Clinical colleagues, you'll deliver engaging product demonstrations, support clinical evaluations, provide installation training and become a valued partner to sonographers, radiologists, emergency clinicians, obstetric teams and other healthcare professionals.

Your work will directly influence customer success, product adoption, and, ultimately, better patient outcomes.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering impactful ultrasound demonstrations to healthcare professionals.
  • Supporting pre-sales evaluations, customer trials, and procurement discussions.
  • Providing engaging post-installation training, education, and clinical support.
  • Helping customers optimize workflow, clinical utilization, and confidence with Mindray ultrasound systems.
  • Building strong relationships with sonographers, clinicians, and department leaders.
  • Supporting conferences, workshops, and educational events.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for Mindray ultrasound solutions.
  • Collaborating closely with Sales, Service, Marketing and Clinical Applications colleagues.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Qualified Sonographer, Ultrasound Practitioner or equivalent clinical ultrasound professional.
  • Strong hands-on ultrasound scanning experience.
  • Experience training, mentoring, coaching, or educating healthcare professionals.
  • Experience demonstrating ultrasound equipment, clinical techniques, or ultrasound applications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Comfortable with regular travel across Southwest England and Wales, including occasional overnight stays.
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
  • Permanent right to work in the UK without requiring company sponsorship.

Highly Desirable

  • NHS ultrasound background.
  • Experience in General Imaging, Women's Health, Vascular, Point-of-Care or Cardiology Ultrasound.
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Applications Specialist.
  • Commercial Ultrasound experience.
  • Involvement in equipment evaluations, procurement projects, or ultrasound technology adoption.

Don't worry if you've never worked in a commercial applications role before. If you're an exceptional sonographer with a passion for ultrasound education, customer interaction, and helping others get the best from technology, we'd still love to hear from you.
