The Opportunity
A well established UK optical business is expanding its clinical function and is seeking a Clinical Applications Specialist to support its optical portfolio across the West Midlands/East Midlands & Surrounding areas
This role is ideally suited to a qualified optometrist who is looking to move out of practice and into an industry based training, education, and clinical support role.

The Role
As a Clinical Applications Specialist, you will:
- Deliver clinical training and education to customers
- Support product adoption and best practice usage
- Work closely with sales and commercial teams to provide clinical expertise
- Act as a trusted clinical expert for optical products
- Support customers across community, independent, and group optical settings
This is a non-sales-heavy role, focused on education, training, and clinical credibility.
About You
We’re looking for:
- Qualified Optometrists
- Individuals looking to transition into:
- Clinical education
- Applications / training roles
- Industry-based optical positions
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Confidence working with customers in a training-led capacity
- Industry experience is not essential — full training will be provided.
