Make an Impact Through Data-Driven Drug Development
We are partnering with a leading global biopharmaceutical organization seeking a Clinical Bioinformatician to support the analysis of complex molecular and clinical datasets that drive research and development across innovative therapeutic programs.
This is an exciting opportunity for a bioinformatics professional who is passionate about applying cutting-edge computational approaches to understand disease biology, discover biomarkers, and generate insights that influence clinical development strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and interpret large-scale omics datasets, including bulk and single-cell RNA sequencing data.
- Develop, maintain, and optimise bioinformatics pipelines and analytical workflows.
- Perform differential expression, pathway enrichment, network analysis, and other advanced statistical analyses.
- Integrate data from multiple sources to support translational research and biomarker discovery initiatives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including translational scientists, clinicians, statisticians, and research leaders.
- Generate clear visualisations, reports, and presentations communicating complex scientific findings to diverse audiences.
- Ensure analyses are reproducible, well-documented, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Contribute to scientific publications, study reports, and internal research initiatives.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Advanced degree (MSc, PhD, or equivalent experience) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Genetics, Genomics, or a related discipline.
- Strong hands-on experience analysing RNA-seq datasets, ideally including both bulk and single-cell sequencing data.
- Proficiency in R and experience working within Linux-based computational environments.
- Solid understanding of statistics, molecular biology, genomics, and transcriptomics.
- Experience developing reproducible analytical workflows and pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable biological insights.
Desirable
- Experience within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or translational research environment.
- Exposure to biomarker discovery, precision medicine, or clinical development programmes.
- Experience with cloud computing, HPC environments, Docker, or workflow management tools.
- Knowledge of multi-omics integration, spatial transcriptomics, or advanced machine learning approaches.
- Scientific publication record and experience presenting findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
