Clinical Business Manager (CBM) for the Division of Medicine
The Clinical Business Manager (CBM) for the Division of Medicine will provide dynamic and visible operational leadership across a complex portfolio of services, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care. The post holder will work in partnership with clinical, nursing, and corporate colleagues to lead service performance, operational delivery, and strategic transformation programmes, with a particular focus on Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC) pathways and improving patient flow across the health system.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive performance against key operational and constitutional standards
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellence in patient care
- Provide strong leadership to multidisciplinary teams
- Play a pivotal role in leading and implementing changes to the Acute Medicine model
- Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
- Ensure services are responsive to the changing needs of patients and the organisation
