Job Opportunity: Experienced Clinical Coder at Oxford University Hospital NHS Trust
Oxford University Hospital NHS Trust is investing in its Clinical Coding Department and is looking to recruit an experienced Clinical Coder to join our well-established team.
Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience in coding using ICD 10 & OPCS classifications
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
Work Arrangement
The Clinical Coding department has its own Working from Home Local Agreement which gives the candidate the opportunity to work remotely, this is available upon request dependent on certain Trust and Department criteria.
Responsibilities
The Clinical Coding Team is responsible for the extraction and translation of inpatient information using the ICD-10 and OPCS-4 Coding Classifications. This information is essential for the effective management of the Trust and crucial to the National Tariff Payment System that underpins Trust income. Coded data is also important for clinical audit, governance, and research.

About the Trust
